Ate Words is a piece of Crap Art following the rules of the Album-A-Day project. The album contains 8 songs and was created in 24 hours with no prior planning. The album was recorded on a Mac Mini using Garage Band. The sounds were produced using either a electric guitar plugged directly into the Mac or an Acoustic guitar being picked up via a pair or microphones (Sony Singstar Mic's if you can believe it) all instruments and vocals were provided by Andrew Wilson. I hope you enjoy my crap art, I certainly enjoyed making it.

A good mix of songs!
Obviously these aren't production quality recordings, but that's part of the whole raw appeal of AAD projects. There's something quite empowering about songs which have been written and recorded like this in such a short space of time.
And there are some quite catchy songs on here as well. "Stain" is a particular favourite of mine with its simple but effective opening riff. "Stickers" is also an excellent tune that you'll find yourself humming along to.
Either way, well worth downloading for a listen. And it's free innit!

Damon Albarn meets John Rzeznik
downloaded this by mistake (got usernames mixed up) but wow! what a find!
'Stickers' is going straight on my ipod! Gonna be my summer song :-)
I broke up with my boyfriend while 'Stain' was playing on loop in the background so that song will always be with me.
I've got a class project to do in movie maker. Making a short video about endangered animals. Was thinking of using 'Brick' as the song for the video (with permission of course)
accidental...but enjoyable :-)
